Do you wear your five point for daily driving? I used not too, but now I have started to use it for DD.

A friend of mine, Paul, has 5 points (non-ACR) talked about survivablity odds and I tend to agree with him.

Crazy as it is, 5 and 6 point harnesses are NOT D.O.T. approved and therefore you can be ticketed for not wearing your seatbelt.

Go figure.

Seriously? That is so lame. But considering how many lame things there are out there, we shouldn't be surprised by this.

A harness makes it difficult to turn your head to check cross traffic, and do other things that require some upper body mobility. Stick with factory belts for street driving.

Just remember, 5 and 6 point belts are only effective if they are pulled tight. When 5\6 points are worn loosely, your better off with the OEM 3-point belts.

Personally, I can't drive on the street with them pulled snug. Your upper body become immobile, so you can't lean forward to check traffic at a intersection - at least I can't.
