I'm a *******....:(

I forgot to look for it the other day when I bought my car. Before it ships, I want to have the seller look for the shock adjustment booklet I just learned I should have and the tool. Is there a special spot ( under the spare, in a compartment?)Where would they normally be in the car ???

WOO HOO it was still in the car with a booklet. Thanks

Glad it was in the car. They don't make the 'special' ACR tool anymore, although there are generics that do the job as well. Our car was minus the tool when we bought it last year. I found one in England..........and paid accordingly.

After a lot of searching a year ago, I finally found a connection through Carl Haas Imports in Lincolnshire, IL. They handle Dynamic Suspension. They were trying to get me a generic tool until I finally talked to a guy who was familiar with the tool which was specially made for the Viper. He took the trouble to call their England branch for me. They found one in their parts department which had been there for a while. England shipped it to IL. IL to me. There's no telling if there is another.

The number to start with is: 847-634-8200. I don't remember who I talked to. My sales receipt has TB for initials under salesman. It also has an item number of DP71-002-SMR. It is labeled as an abutment adjusting tool

Hope this helps.

I'll see how many we have left, regarding why PatentLaw replied, it's where I work now who made them, as mentioned our England facility was responsible for them at that time. I recently sent this one to a VCA member in Switzerland..

Does anyone have any information of the tool that was included for the Koni suspension in 1999 and early 2000?
