acr stripe on a 08 vert

SOOoo it's Saturday afternoon.. the kids have played all their soccer games... it's a couple of hours untill the Texas Tech raiders are on tv so i need a small project....

My car is going to the body shop in a week or so and i've been contemplating stripes on and off but never with any real conviction...So i'm thinking how about a white acr stripe.. so i got out the white athletic tape....i know the front stripe is not straight btw...

i like the front stripe but i'm not feeling the back stripe....i still have to install the autoform deck spoiler and the stripe would go over that...Still i don't think the stripe works on the vert because of the lack of a roof stripe....also not having the rear diffuser blacked out is an issue...

On taking the tape off i realized how nice the 08 red paint is... probably least photogenic but stunning in person

My opinion is for no stripe. Getting the conventional dual black stripes while already in the paint booth would be a better idea.

I like the stripe and would probably look the best with the top down. You could get a X- Viper carbon boot cover cover and the wing painted to match and that would REALLY finish it off! I say go for it.

Thanks for all the feedback guys(even wagner from the alley).... i thought about the black or silver stripe and mark's suggestion but i'm not going to do the stripe... i'm kinda 50/50 on the decision so who knows maybe i'll change my mind tomorrow

Also the other reason for this thread was to show other members here what an acr stripe would look like on a 08 vert so i hope people were informed

Man it hurts to have a viper in limp mode ... u just dug the dagger in a little deeper
