ACR Wheels made in Japan?

We were bleeding the brakes on the ACR yesterday and the kid who was helping me noticed the wheels were made in Japan?! Who makes the ACR wheels?

My '09 6-spokes have Taiwan stamped on them. Not sure about the ACR wheels.

I looked at my Sidewinders and my ACR wheels, they are both stamped Japan.

My sidewinders are also stamoed Japan. I believe the company that manufactures these rims is based in Japan and has a name that starts with T, something like Tanasia? Tenasia?

Sidewinders are made in Japan. ACR wheels are black sidewinders.
