Absolutely awesome pics Wolf!! It was a really, really fun weekend and I had a great time driving and just hanging out with everyone. I learned a ton on the track. Wish you could have tracked with us!

And...notice the YELLOW gloves? Not sure they made me any faster, but they sure are comfy.

The numbers i heard was the "x" guys over the comp coupe by about 5 seconds. I believe, and someone can feel free to correct me, that the reason is HP. The "x" is dynoing at around 640 to 650 according to Archer Racing and I believe the Comp coupe is running the older engines down is the 500's on the dyno. Also, don't forget that the brakes are incredible on the ACR-X. Those guys were throwing it into turn 1 at almost full throttle.

At some point, I want to make the transition from drag racing to road racing. Would be fun to have a new challenge. Although neither of my cars are even close to being setup for that type of racing! I live in central NC. VIR isn't that far away. Not sure what other tracks are in this area to try out.

I think drag racing or auto cross will be my next trial run. I would prefer auto cross to see how this car can turn.

Worth a try, even with the automatic. Turbo is not an issue. I'm supercharged. Makes up for lost time in slow turns lol.

Also, coming down the "roller coaster", they were accelerating AND SHIFTING where everyone else in "normal" Vipers was hitting the brakes to eneter the turn for the front stretch. They did tap the brakes right there where the flag mans booth was but I think that was just to settle the car from the hill before they hit the gas. By the way, thats where your car sounded the best was in that same spot entering the front stretch. Thats pretty much where she got your video.

Yeah I put her up there . I knew it was a good spot and I wanted some video of the supercharger whining. The one posted turned out being the best, the other ones I was allowing people to pass me via the instructors request. I was playing nice . Does show the acceleration of my car very good. I got on the throttle pretty late but I held it full throttle past the flag mans booth. I know what you meant by turn one, hence my sarcasm. I literally was doing like 15mph through turn 1, maybe I am exaggerating but it was in that ballpark.

ACRX also has significantly less aero drag than the Comp Coupe.

Overall a very good, but hot, event. Some great racing & some fantastic laptimes!
