It looks nice, just like a vette looks nice. The gen II GTS is way, let me say that again for the slow ones... WAY better in appearance. As for the gentleman above who says it "stomps" the GTS in every category, put down the crack pipe man, you have no idea what this car does, let's see some times man. Why buy the "old", "antique", because they will start to go up in value soon, they are considered the ultimate Viper by most people. If you don't like that, sorry about your luck. The GTS is a timeless design, the new one is not.

I don't hear anyone gushing over the SRT styling (coupe or convert.) like they did when the Gen I and Gen II cars were introduced.

Anybody who say's that it isn't fantastic is full of it. There is no question that SRT gave us what we asked for and more in the style department.
For those of you non-believer's, you need to know that Bill pemberton has over 50 orders and more! There will be only 200 Coupes buit on the first run.
this ******** has to stop on this forum. Buy one or don't. The Coupe is incredible looking, and leagues beyond the performance of a GEN II.
Yes, more power will come. That's all I am going to say.

No doubt it's a good looking car (Comparable to a C6 Z06), but it is not jaw dropping like the Gen II GTS. A picture is worth a 1000 words.....

The different between the gen1/2 and 3 is that the Gen1/2's are more organic. The curves are alive and slither like a snake. I believe it is one of the last cars done the old fashioned way... clays and paper sketches. More soul, but less perfection. The srt-10's looks are aggressively angular and mechanical. It looks done on CAD (Computer-Aided Design). Less soul, but tighter tolerences and better aerodynamic. Both are appealing. Some like one more than the other.
Unfortunately, the srt coupe tries to be both and is too compromised a design to make the huge visual impact Vipers have had traditionally. Make no mistake, it is still a beautiful car, but it's a "Wow!" car, not a "Holy $h!t!" car. The good news? It kicks major @$$ performance-wise. Might not be king of the hill like the gen1/2 once was, but at this level of performance, driver skills matters more than a couple extra horses and pounds.
And to be real, the only TRUE Vipers are the Gen1's (I have a gen2). Hot, loud, and fast... no windows, no ABS, no AC, no nonesense, no excuses... It's a driver's car. I dare DC to go back to that thinking. The rest of us are all a bunch of queens with our creature comforts.

And you just never, never can let it rest. We understand your feelings for your car, and how terrible a piece of crap any GTS or RT/10 is. You mention it in every worthless post. It's getting old now, people are moving on. Suggest you take some time and seek professional help with the insecurity issue.
