Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket diff covers made for a 2001? Something with a drain and a fill plug on the cover?

None that I am aware of, but I think there is a tech article on here about how to drill the case to add a drain plug without removing the diff.

Yes I did see that and it seems like a good undertaking. I am curious...isn't the rear axle a Dana 44? If so would there be any reason this G2 cover for the Dana 44 would not work as far as the experts here are concerned?

That picture makes it very clear that it's highly unlikely that there will be an aftermarket cover. Thanks for the clarity.

The new ACR has a really great looking differential cover with fins and cooler fittings.
