Has anyone used Aldan shocks and springs on their Viper? I have never heard of them before seeing some on Ebay.

I originally wanted them, but kept reading nothing but issues with them. Leaks seemed to be one of the more common issues.

Stay away from those, they leak and blow out easy. If you want a in-expensive reliable coilover then I would get the KW's.:)

I purchased a set some time ago to lower my viper, when my viper tech found out he told me to return them and buy Eibachs springs to lower my viper. He also told me that are made from or for dune buggy's and has a lot of problems with them in the past.

Steve's got a coil over package that uses the stock shock. I'm looking for a shock upgrade without a $3000-$4500 price tag. Any more comments on Aldan? JonB sells them and says they are great. Lifetime warranty as well. All for about $1300 from PartsRack.

Opinions wanted!!!

My 03 which I bought last April with 23,000 miles (now has 25) came lowered with Aldans. I really have nothing to compare them to, and I don't know when in the car's life they were installed. But in 2000 miles over driving, I haven't had any issues (knock wood).

MODERATORS should combine these threads. I'm getting dizzy from jumping back and forth. Of course mine's 2 years old.

I just finish with my H&R coilover #32094-1 set up ,and I just love them. Very good quality.

For $2800 - $3500 price tag why didn't you buy KW's. H&R says they lower a minimum of 1.3". Is that true? Seems pretty low as a starting point.

I have had a set sitting at ART that were for my GTS that I just never put on. PM me if they would help anyone looking for them. I had always heard they were better on the GTS cars, and were terrible on the SRT's. I have no experience with them as I have always just run Motons or KW's, so no comment from me if they are as bad as some here claim them to be. I had also heard that they would leak if they were over extended, rather than bottoming the shock out.
