I find a few items here in conflict:

Legal in every state except California, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Virginia, Nebraska, and Washington, D.C.

quote:

The radar component works by mixing an X, K or Ka radar signal with an FM "chirp" and bouncing it back at the squad car by way of a waveguide antenna, effectively confusing the computer inside the radar gun.

Perhaps they better hire Misstress Cleo to explain how you can have an obviously illegal (in every state) radar jammer and call it legal.
Save your money- if they lie about the little stuff like that, what else is bogus in their claims?

Radar works by sending out a signal from the radar gun and listening to the signal that bounces back. If an object is coming toward you, the signal that bounces back will be higher in frequency. If it's going away from you, the signal that bounces back will be lower in frequency. This is called Doppler Shift. By measuring the difference in frequency between what the radar gun is sending out and what bounces back from the car, you can measure speed.

A radar jammer on a car measures the frequency of the radar coming from the radar gun and sends out it's own radar signal that's slightly higher in frequency, but it controls the frequency such that the difference always corresponds to some particular speed (65 MPH or something). This signal is much stronger than the signal reflected from the car, so the radar gun only hears the jammer.

This doesnt work with laser (which most cops use). The jammer they are talking about (that say they block laser) it 100% a hoax. Id save your money and get a valentine 1. An LED to block lazer? I dont think so. I think its legal because it was tested and they were like "Go ahead. I dosent do anything>

Oh yeah. There was some guy on the web saying that you could hook up a cheap fish finder under your dash and that would jam radar as well. Radar guns arent sonar so that would never work. But at least you could keep your eye out for some good walleye.
