10th digit of the vin like mentioned will tell you the year. 8 = 2008, 9 = 2009 A =2010 B = 2011 etc

In 2009 the Anaconda Green breakdown according to Dodge is like this:
-2 ACRs, both black center band
-2 roadsters with white stripes
-1 coupe with silver stripes
-3 solid coupes
-1 solid roadster
-9 total in 2009

That car is owned by a Ex Dealer from Fort Mcmurray. He has had it in so many auto auctions that it needs to spend a week at the detailers fron all the scratches in it from people all over the car. Nice colour though but not my bright enough for me!
there is one new one vert with silver stripes in western canada

As noted above...this car has had a LOT of work done...for unknown reasons.

I will say that when I called the broker in Houston on Saturday, they were most helpful and did a walk around on the car with me on the phone, noting the date it was made along with the paint code (there is a photo of this door tag on their website)...and very kindly told me that this was a total repaint on a newly purchased car...and, the disposition was pending as of two days ago.

Potential buyers should do very careful RESEARCH !!!

Pirate, interesting, pretty costly to do that, a good paint job is expensive and that interior is hard to find (and pricey). If it's really not a factory built '08, either somone with lot's of $$$ did the conversion, or it had damage that may not have hit carfax/autocheck ( I googled the vin and can see that it has a carfax title guarantee dating back to 12/13/12, so carfax must be clear). I see that the ford dealer had it advertised for $59K so if it's a nice car the price is good.

I've seen a few of that color, looks great in the sun and changes color as some have mentioned. Those interiors are very nice and much higher quality than the Gen I or II tan's. If you like the color the only downside I would tell you is that you need to clean and treat the interior often, and, over time the top will get dirty in the creases (from folding) and nearly impossible to keep it looking new. Good luck, Mike

Maybe a complex story or just that a buyer liked the color combo, had the bucks and changed it. Color changes on brand new cars were not unheard of back in the 60s'.

There was a member who went from red to SSG on his 08. The cost was somewhere around $12K for complete panel removal and paint. Also swapped out his red/black int for slate/black. At the time he did this, it was cheaper to go this route than sell/trade in his red car and buy an SSG. So this could be the same thing.

Unless there are 2 venom reds that were painted and interior changed to tan, I looked at this car myself a while back. VIN didn't match description, when I asked they said it had been painted. Can't remember the price but it was on the low side. Explanation was that prev owner just wanted that combo, I didn't feel comfy with it and passed.
