Another Front License Plate Question

Hi All, Has anyone tried the motorized hide away license plate for the Viper. If so who makes it?I have heard our state is cracking down on not having a front plate. I also saw Woodhouse Dodge has a plate holder that suction cups on. How good is that ? I think if it ever came off it could cause some damage. Any one have any experiences? Thanks...00PROWLER...

Never heard of a motorized hide away license plate for the Viper. There is a better license plate holder than the suction-cup plate, which, like it, does not permanently attach to the Viper front, but which won't fall off, unlike the suction-cup plate which can come off if the suction cups happen to loosen. It's even a patented design. Quite a good idea, and very simple.

I have tested my license plate holder with the suction cups for the first time today. Only 3 out of 4 suction cups had contact - nevertheless, up to 130 mph no problem during a 2 hour drive...

Adjusted the fourth suction cup after I returned home - I am confident now that the plate holder with the suction cups will not come loose during normal driving conditions.

BTW, I recognized a slightly warmer engine - due to the license plate in front of the cooler.
