Any help insite much apreciated. I was driving down the highway, and car dies? Tow back to the house, check things out,
1 it turns over , but no fire.
2 check fuel line and pump, and no pressure, zero flow.
3 take out pump and take to autozone, hook up to 12 volt battery, it runs.
4 rehook pump to car nothing.
5 check voltage at plug in is 5.6 volts. What should it be?
6 have voltage booster from Roe . What should voltage be?
7 check and replaced all fuses. No help.

Wonder if it is still bad pump, if normal volts? Or bad electical giving low volts? Bad fuel pump relay? How to tell? What to fix replace first?

Any ideas? thanks

A normal fuel pump will run at roughly 12v. Sounds like your boost a pump may be the problem.

Sounds to me like it could be the RKE theft module. They are known for just giving up. This would explain the crank and no fire without fuel pressure.

I thought the module would let you start it but cut off after a few seconds?

I suspect it's something to do with the boost a pump.

Did you check the pump relay fuse in the trunk?

If your car was stock, I'd say that it sounds like a classic case of the fuel pump relay either getting a little loose or the contacts being dirty. In such a case, pull relay, replace same (may need to do this a couple of times to be sure relay well seated) and see what happens. This particular entity and fix were described to me by Sean Roe, as it has happened to him on the track. May also need new relay...not a stock part at dealers around here. Good luck, and let us know.

The stock pump is fed 12V whenever the key is set to crank or run. It runs because the ECU provides the ground connection. The ECU is smart enough to avoid flooding, so continual cranking will only periodically provide 12V.

Were you measuring between the 12V supply and an actual ground, or between 12V supply and the ground wire leading to the ECU? If the former, it should read 12V all the time the key is on and if not, you have a relay or 12V supply problem. If you were measuring at the plug and therefore between the 12V feed and the ground via the ECU, then it should be alternating between 12V and 0V.

Can you remove or bypass the Roe part for now?

nope, as gtsnake mentioned, the pump will run shortly and the car will start but the alarm syst. shuts it off immediately. you will have fuel press. while cranking.
*edit* I guess you could be right if the TKE were able to kill power to the fuel pump when it goes bad

I would check your grounds, especially at the PCM.

you can jump connection at the relay to see if it is bad.

you can also bypass the BAP to check to see if that is the problem
see my diagram
disconnect the wires to the relay and BAP
connect the battery power to the + of the pump and connect the battery neg. to the pump -
then reconnect the other wires that activate the relay

I checked the voltage from the power and the ground and read 0 volts? the 5 volts came from the power and the middle two (the sensor ground and power supply). So problem with the ground? Where to check to fix this? Tried removing and replacing the fuel pump relay , no help. Thanks for the input so far.

Problem solved. I called Sean Roe and said the same thing happened to him. It was the relay on the voltage booster, it was bad. Replaced it ($10 fix), the cheapest part on the car possibly????? Runs great again, thanks Sean, always so helpfull. He also said if it happens again, can steal one from fan relay in fuse box tilol youi can get another one, I just keep one in the trunk for a while in case. Thaqnks for everyones input.
