I have an SCT with a tune from Dan at VS. I have had the tune on the car for a little while and switched back to the stock tune last night. It said it loaded correctly and I drove around for few minutes after it loaded. I didn't get going very fast (just around the neighborhood), but I know the stock tune was back in because the "skip shift" feature was activated again. When I got in tonight to run up to the clubhouse for dinner, I noticed the "skip shift" is not activated now. I drove a little further and it's not popping like it used to with the stock tune. Did the computer revert back to my VS tune somehow? How would you explain the "skip shift" being off now?

I'm going to call Dan if I get a chance tomorrow, but just wondering if anyone had any ideas.

Tune cannot revert, but it will have to relearn some adaptives. Skip shift will not activate if you are over about 1500 rpm so maybe that was happening?

Ditto. A computer cannot re-flash itself, and the PCM does not store multiple tunes to have anything to revert back to.

I'm taking it to the shop for some work.

I'm definitely not over the speed or RPM limit. The skip-shift was kicking in as soon as I loaded it, but it's not now. Really weird.
