I heard a while back that the new aftermarket exhaust for the RAM SRT-10 Quadcab would be out in late February. Anyone know of anything hitting the market yet?

Jerry,
I presently have headers on my 04 Ram SRT/10 standard cab. I spoke with CORSA back in November, they stated they had a mule system and should have final production of a system by February..

I have a phone call in to them now to find out status and availability..

BTW, how do you like the quad cab???

Rick.

Magnaflow produces a very nice stainless steel cat-back system for both the standard cab chassis and the quad cab chassis. We've sold/installed several of these systems since they've become available. Feel free to contact us for details!

I have the 2005 Quadcab with a Paxton supercharger installed. I am looking for a better exhaust note. I'm not sure if the headers will work with the Paxton or if they are even necessary. I don't want to loose HP with the exhaust if they are not made for the new truck. I was told the new Magnaflow for the Ram Quadcab was not built or designed yet and they would not guarantee the system for the 2 door would not loose hp.

Tom and Larry what are your thought's

Rick - Love the truck - dyno results after the Paxton were around 621 hp. Not bad for a truck!

Valaya installed Belanger headers, hi-flow cats and Borla Cat Back a couple weeks ago. Sounds good under throttle, nice deceleration rumble. Pretty mellow at idle. Volume is not excessive in the cabin.

John Archer installed the K&N cold air induction at Viper Days last week. Actually had the system installed Friday morning at the Brian Angen Memorial before I raced the 2005 Corvette during lunch. Bob Lutz sent it to Maurice for an opportunity to compare it to the Viper. No performance comparison, a stock 2003 Viper SRT totally destroyed the Vette. A 96RT gave it a good spanking, and my 2005 Ram SRT10 Quad Cab pulled a great hole shot but after about 400 feet the 5500 pounds and wind resistance took its tole and the Vette slowly pulled away. Spectators said I lost by a 1/4 sec. I keep the throttle to the floor to the start finish at Thunderhill. Many were concerned that the Ram would not be able to slow down for turn One. But the Ram has amazing brakes rated at 60-0 in 126 feet.

Having no experience racing the Ram I just put the tranny in the tow mode and let the computer shift.

On the street the RAM SRT will drive Corvette's nuts. Red light to Red light the RAM wins. Except for very long blocks.
