Any VCA members living in the FL clearwater Area ??

I have a big favor to ask of someone in the Clearwater area..I've got my eye on a 2001 Race Yellow RT with 6000 Miles .
The car broker I spoke to said that its in Mint condition and runs perfect but the pictures he emailed me are somewhat blurry and do not show any detail .

Before I take the plunge I'd like to have a VCA brother go over and take a look at it and give me there honest opinion.

Who has the car ? Also noticed you are in Ca, there is no way I would buy a car that is that far away from me.....there has to be one closer to you. I will be in Clearwater tomorrow night but I will be leaving Saturday morning. If they really want to sale .... and you really want this car, get them to take it to Vipermeds shop in Tampa......25 minutes from Clearwater. It will be the best money you can spend.

I tried to email you with "failure delivery"I own a viper shop in Tampa and would be more than glad to check out the car for you at no cost.I would prefer to have the car at my shop to put it on a lift and check it out thoroughly.It is about a 30 minute dr. to my shop from clearwater.If the broker will not obligate you.then either he doesnt want to sell or has something to hide.I would not give my endorsement to a car that i cannot thoroughly check out.give me a call or email.

Scott , thats very generous of you !! Chuck RT/10 was kind enough to email me , he said he would be happy to give the car a quick visual and take it for test drive .

Based upon his feedback If it pass's his once over i'd love to take you up on your offer to give it an even more through inspection .

Yes they are! Chuck, VIP-RT/10 (i.e., Antonio), and Gerald checked out my car for me a couple years ago before I went to the trouble to come down, view it, and get it.

Antonio and I will check it out. Anyone else is welcome. We usually take the car for some high speed bridge runs, some salt runs along the beach, a greasy, hotsauce Winghouse run and finish it off with a 6-hour boobfest at Mons. We're very thorough. Vipers are always able to survive our "examinations" and we usually get 20K knocked off the price.

Anybody else that wants us to check out a Viper for them let us know.
