I'm getting tired of the fact that the Shocks in my srt8 Jeep are stiffer then my 06 Coupe. I feel like the Jeep is stiffer then the 06.

Is there a way to make the 06's stiffer? I know the old gen 2, NON ACRs could even be adjusted, (we all know the ACRs could be).

Is there any such adjustment on the 06s ??

Thanks,

Jon

not a Viper owner but I use HAL 12 way adjustable shocks on my cars. They can be set for the 1/4 mile or a road course. Easy to adjust.

HAL changed their name to QA1. I've got them on my musclecars and late model GM cars, but I do not think they make a set for Vipers. I wish they did, they work and are inexpensive.

Of course, Revalve or replace, but not inexpensive.

Option: A progressive SPRING kit will lower the car about 1" and also give you the 'stiffer' ride you seek, especially when tossing the car....... about $325 for parts. Unfortunately, the labor is MORE than putting in KWs at well-under $3200 for the kit, complete w springs, rear shock forks and assembled.

Shops really charge thousands in labor to install lowering springs? I have all the tools required and can do it in less than 2 hours without a lift. Three hours if I do it casually.

Viper Tax? :lmao:

The parts are under $3200 for KWs. The springs $325

The average labor to install KWs is about 2 hours+alignment, and is less than the labor to replace springs alone (3 hours) and re-align.
