Re: Anybody change the side Viper emblyms?

I'm guessing that you mean the side/fender lettering.
Use a blow dryer to heat up the letters first, and use dental floss to get behind them, pulling across to break the adhesive seal. Make sure that you carefully measure the proper placement and angles of the current lettering to get the new lettering on straight. Usually the makers of lettering replacement provide a template, but it's smart to be thorough as it's difficult to reposition them once down.

I think that red will really stand out against the black.

Re: Anybody change the side Viper emblyms?

Just did some over the weekend. I will post some photo's as soon as I can. It wasn't bad. I had a friend do them that has done some in the past. Thanks Joe. PBJ for all your viper performance needs. He just picked them off by hand. He masked off the area first so he could get the new ones back in the same spot. Cleaned the area with some solvent and presto. Put black on the wife's yellow r/t and chrome on the back of my sapphire r/t. Looks great.

I agree with Adam, Go Chrome. Picks up the wheels more.

Speaking of which, I just received mine from "VenomBlue" today. They look great, but I think there should be a disclaimer on the website indicating that they are NOT the exact size as the stock emblems (very slightly smaller), and the rear emblems aren't as "puffy." I was reading a previous post about this, but unfortunately I had already ordered them. Nonetheless, they look great. Can't wait for the HID kit to show up. :2tu:

Cheers,

I changed my sides and back to silver to match the silver stripes I have. I think it looks perfect and matches well. I think that chrome would match the wheels well also. I bought my rears from Mopar and the sides from VenomBlue. If I had it to do all over again, I'd buy all 4 from Venomblue. They look great and are well priced.
