I'm not really a vette guy, but I'd be suprised if it looks half as good as the 2012 vette on the cover of car & driver. jmo, but the rear end of that thing looks wicked. I think they beat viper to the punch, hope I'm wrong cause like I said I'm Definitely not a vette guy.

Rear end of the Vette was already killed by GM CEO, he thought it looked "too fat." And the head of styling went along with his thinking.
Thankfully we have a guy in Ralph who is already a legend and has the confidence of senior management and will be allowed to do his thing.

If it's faster than my current ACR with drop dead looks, I'll own one.
Looks are subjective but it has to be a step up, not sideways and certainly not backward from a performance standpoint.
But NOT the first year model..;)

I think they've done an awesome job with the Vette, but it has taken them a while. I like my C5 alot but I like it progressively worse as you look rearward LOL, and frankly it is hard to argue with the performance of the current Z06/ZR1.

I personally would like to see more curves (less angles) come back to the Viper, but I doubt that will happen... the overwhelming trend, which I've yet to really get on board with, is to angles/lines. I think the new (Gen IV) Vipers look great, but prefer curves.

I'm not really in the financial situation to buy a new one.

But, if it's faster than ViperJon's current ACR with drop dead looks, I'll buy his when he upgrades :)

Looks too much like a Ferrari. Now if the new Vette had some styling cues from the Vette portrayed in the Transformers movies then it would be an interesting car.

If you like the looks of the newer Aston Martins, you will most likely be very happy with the rear of the new Viper. (absolutely beautiful, in a powerful, yet elegant way)

Curves are the word for the new Viper. If you love the angles of the GenIV you will be disappointed. Second year of production goodbye GenIV hello V!!!!
The car we saw at VOI was curvey and ****!! I hope the car I saw on motortrends website is not the corvette that would be a sacrilege.

Oh boy... so I'd better start saving and selling off all non-essential belongings :)

Yea, I figured. That's the only bad thing about the newer Vettes and Vipers. It's great how the competition keeps making both cars faster, but with added HP, and other performance features over the years the price is increased A LOT obviously. It's too bad it couldn't stay in the 80-90k range. I mean, that's still a lot, but more attainable lol.
