Anyone Drive the Smokey Mountains?

I made it to The Dragon. 11 miles and over 300 turns on Rt 129 where it spans the NC/TN border.

Oh My!

Too bad it wasn't held in Knoxville!

GREAT road!!! Last time I drove it my passenger puked twice. What a blast!!!

There's a biker motel at one end of it and a bar at the other, or at there was 10 years ago when I went through it. I was a passenger in a Nissan Pathfinder doing it at night with a pickup truck towing a boat tailgating us the whole way through. We finally found a section of road that was wider & let him pass us. He didn't go off of the cliff or lose the boat he was towing, but he was taking the hairpin turns at over 35 MPH and we couldn't/didn't want to keep up with him.
