Anyone have a relay switch melt on them?

Melted the board where the relay was so I can't reuse that plug-in. I was thinking of pulling the wires under it and re-wiring them to the open plug that is not being used. Anyone do this or should I relocate the relay? I have a 96' GTS.

Holy high amperage Batman! Was that the relay for the cooling fan?

Yes-sir-ree. Just got done retrofitting new wires, an upgraded fan..... works fine....
