I don't know if the lift is going to help much. It might even be easier to do it on the ground on 4 jack stands. My first piece of advice: get some people to help! I had 3 of my friends help me out and it took about 4 hours (we were doing the headers at the same time).

Difficulty wise, it's not too bad. It just took forever once we had the engine and transmission jacked up and removed the old mounts to have everything come back down on the new, thicker mounts right in the right spot. It took a lot of playing around with.

Good luck!

Installing from the bottom (on a lift) seems to me would be the easiest way...that's how I did mine. 4 hours should be enough. My originals came out pretty easy, but some owners have had issues with the bolts that hold the engine mount bracket...make sure to have some WD-40, PB-Blaster, something on hand and maybe a breaker bar.

I would advise removing the side sills and undoing the front rubber exhaust mounting bracket, When I did mine I jacked up the engine but found I was causing the rubber bracket to almost tear, That's if you have a stock exhaust system. It you have Belanger headers, Ignore this post.

You can definitely get this done without taking out the tranny. Just make sure you undo the tranny mount, otherwise you'll have trouble raising the engine enough.

I dont know about the corsa system but with the stock headers flexitube and turnout where it enters the side sill there is a rubber mount, You just need to undo the two bolts to allow you to slightly lift the exhaust system without putting strain on the rubber mount.

Take a look at this pic and look at the very front of the exhaust system to see the rubber mount i'm talking about.
You must be registered for see images

As far as the transmission is concerned, you do not have to remove it but loosen off the mounting bolts.

Brings back nightmares. Passenger side is a royal pia! Have plenty of cold beverages on hand. Can't say how hard it might be with headers, but with the stock manifolds in place - ouch! Good luck!

I must have been extremely lucky cause mine went in easily and I did it myself. Took a bit of fanangling to get the passenger side out. Only real issue I had was getting both of the the round tabs back in the slots. A few minutes with the die grinder took care of that.
