Anyone have the fuel tank hold down strap break?

I did.

Had this rattle sound in the back of the car for the past week or so and I couldn't find it. Finally I did, the strap that holds the gas tank in place broke and it was would rattle and make this twang sound over every bump. I was able to take it off and weld it back together, no big deal.....never heard of this before, just wondering if anyone else had.

I have seen it happen many times on other cars but not on the viper.
