Anyone install the CF dash kit?

Has anyone installed the CF dash kit for the SRT 10? If so, how simple is it to install, whats involved, how long, and are you pleased with the fit and finish or is it cheesy? Thanks.

The quality of real CF parts vary greatly by manufacturer. I love the look of it when it's done well.

The Mopar CF is faux. The fit and finish is great but the color is more grey and black. Real CF is more gold and black. I now have a red Mopar dash kit that I like lots better.

X-Vipers makes a real carbon dash and bezels if you want that. I have a set coming for my car and when I have a chance to get them in I will post up some pics.

Another cheap upgrade is to upgrade the black hex bolts to chrome on the upper bezel... they are cheap at home depot.. just take one of your stock ones into the store to get the correct size.. i did it on my 03 but haven't gotten around to it yet on the 08

the dash also matches my faux door speaker covers..

Thanks, I called them and they want 695.00 for a real CF 2 piece dash. Post a picture when you get it installed as they dont have one on their site.

Ive seen the ebay's for $475 and it appears they cover much more than just the dash, (Tweeters, handles, shift plate, steering wheel etc). I'm not a big ebayer and certainly not for this upgrade. I havent found many pics online of Gen II's with the CF dash.

Perhaps Jon B will chime in with some input on options and prices.

PartsRack has the kit below. It is a CF Graphic, that looks to me as rich as the CF on an Enzo here! I like it. Installes in mere minutes. And we will offer a rebate to you, if you return the OE dash bezels you remove.

I also like the richer look with the Stainless screws.

As you see, the bezel refracts and reflects any other colors present, like Rich's Blue. Red interior has a redish reflective element as 2 below. I like the pieces a lot.

(I think Rich needs the MGW Gripper/Blue logo and the MGW cup bezel and AC trim as 2 below ! MGW LTD., INC. - CNC Machined and Turned Parts. Accessories for the Corvette, Mustang, and Viper )

It is a MOMO Jet in black and carbon fiber. There is no airbag though.

Rob, we do have a USA source for a full-blown real CF applique kit for all 4 Gens. {stick-on} Many pieces possible from mild to wild, and colored CF too. RT and GTS.

And we have a full CF Instrument panel for 96-97 GTS in real CF.

I don't know what they will cost yet, but I can tell you that they look more like race parts than these which may or may not be better to most buyers....I think mine looks awfully good compared to stock , bad... I don't think I have heard that EVER...

I called x-vipers on the real CF 2 piece and they custom make them. I was quoted 695.00. The only pix they have on their site is the Mopar faux unit. Seems like if they REALLY wanted to promote stuff, they would have sample quality pictures.
