NOT polished, we are talking about CHROME, which we strip it, polish it, triple chrome, complete deal, professionally done, on exchanged, return time about 4 days, for $800 included shipping & insurance back to you, that's way way less than "cal chrome" company charges, so anyone interested?? PM me or e-mail me, we can also do both valve covers for a little extra, thanks..........

You are aware the valve covers are magnesium? Several people have tried this and the results have not been good.

Venom, do a search on polished valve covers. Polishing them is not going to work because they are magnesium. Looks good at first but over time they look crappy.

I thought only the valve covers of a few GEN I RT/10's (~ 1994) are magnesium. All others are aluminium...

Anyway, is it this what you're thinking about :

Hmmm... Why do some of them have 4 and most 3 (on each side) stripes then, I thought 4, because the magnesium wasn't as stiff as the alumium... Anyway, thanks for the info.

The manifolds are all aluminum its the valve covers that are magnesium.Earlier gen1 manifolds had 4 rails later model gen1 and all gen2s had 3

Oh, just got that wrong...

Anyway, but I saw 1992 RT/10's with 3 stripes, aswell as '95 models. (??)

(also, the 1993 GTS concept had 4 stripes)
