Good catch on the "fiend" error....yes, meant "friend"...proving once again that I can't type !!!

Thanks, Mary...sort of though that I might flush out some yellow Viper owners...as they ARE fast !!! :)

Naples motorsports is a really reputable dealer. One of my clients drives 300 miles everytime he wants a car (he gets a new toy every 6 months) and only purchases from them.

agreed. and with those miles and obvious condition. I would highly doubt there are any issues. If this was an issue car, it most likely would have been sold at wholesale.

I always see good stuff at that place, but one thing really kinda annoys me about that ad, and most Viper ads do the same...

Why does everyone selling a viper think the 505 on the air box is a horsepower rating?!?!

Sigh...

I talked to Naples a few months ago about a Viper they had for sale, which also showed as "Pending". They said they had an offer for a couple grand less than the price but told me that since the sale was not finalized I could present an offer...seemed kinda unethical IMO.

Otherwise, they seem to have nice cars but the prices are generally above market. And I wish they (and a lot of other dealers) would stop putting layers of tire shine on everything that rolls!

I have been told that this car in now "sold".

Thanks for all of the info/comments.

My friend will keep looking for a Gen III...clean, low mileage, and NO stories !!!

I considered purchasing it myself. It is reported to be 100% stock, but those shiny exhaust tips look suspicious to me. I also think that they are a little high on their prices and I purchased one elsewhere. If it is still listed, there is a low mileage 2005 red viper on ebay for asking 49,500. Enjoy your search.

Wasn't there a 2005 copperhead for sale here under 40K just a couple of weeks ago? That was a steal!
