I just ordered a Proform stand alone shift light and was wondering if anyone out there uses one of these. You dial in the RPM's on the back of the light. I know some shift lights are only compatible with up to 8 cylinders or else they have to be recalibrated for 10 cylinders. Do I have reason to worry that this won't work with the Viper? It was relatively inexpensive and I didn't feel the need to have a shift light and tach combined like all the other shift lights I saw out there. All I wanted was the light itself. If this doesn't work, is there any other shidt light out there that is sold as a stand alone unit?
