That looks like Autoforms aftermarket replacement side sills. If they changed to those I'm sure this car has been to the collision shop.

If anything, I'm thinking a 97+ coupe is in my future... I give it 6 months ;)

May look clean, but it has a few things wrong. The door bezels are ruined, no front emblem, cracked inside pieces....

**** bonkers... I didn't think they can do that!

If they repod it and sent it to auction (and sold it) then you don't owe them **** man. Especialy if they did it prior to the due date. Did they give you a writen statement of when the 3mo was due on the 30th?

I'd be calling every lawyer in the book... someone droped the ball at GMAC and they can be held accountable for it.

So your having to pay for a car you don't own, and you had no part in the sale of? Thats a crock of **** man :/

Lemme know if I can help, my father in law is a dealer and may be able to ask around.

(I didn't think they can do that!) Amazing what "they" can do.

(then you don't owe them **** man.) Unfortunately as part of binding contract they have the option of suing me for the difference. Since I cannot afford a lawyer.....

(statement of when the 3mo was due on the 30th?) Technically no, but they did send a letter saying I was a week late on my first missed payment.

(I'd be calling every lawyer in the book...) If you only knew.

(So your having to pay for a car you don't own) Yup the last $14k. They shaved the total down twice now, but its still above $9k. Its not the money thats killing me its the credit slam. I can't get an equity loan now on any of my properties so I have to start selling them to pay bills.

Every lawyer I've talked to off the record basically says that unless I have proof (read: Enron style paperwork) GMAC will dominate the trial as a company trying to be swindled. Even though I had a 750+ credit rating and managed to pay the 423 other bills beforehand on time I'll end up being the deadbeat. I plan on pursuing it farther but I have a similar situation forming over a speeding ticket that takes precedence.

Thanks for the concern though. But crap like this happens to me constantly. If your ever feeling a little down about your life ask me to tell you one of my car stories, you'll be renewed.
