I am looking to pay around 55K and want about 20K miles or less... Obviously the less miles you have the more I would be willing to pay. So far I found one for 53K with 11K miles at Franfort Auto Haaus, but the car does not have the front emblem and I don't have a good feeling about it. Carfax is clean, but I still don't like it. I also found another one at prestige imports for 59K, but the guy added a bunch of crappy mods that I don't like that he thinks I should pay for. Finally I saw beauty at Family Classics which I really like, but the guy over there thinks the car is worth 70K and it has 20K miles...

What a nut!!! Anyways, just wondering if anyone was thinking about selling around here. So far I have been checking out Ebay, cars.com, autotrader and the Viper classified; does anyone know any other good sites???

Sorry, but the answer is no.
It's a keeper.
Keep trying, they are out there.
Be patient.
Run away if need be.

Well, that ACR is still there. Not surprising. I saw the car about 6 weeks ago. A friend of mine was looking for a black GTS so I drive over to see it. I pull into the small used car lot called the Frankfort Auto Hauss, park my 98 GTS right next to the ACR, and get out to check it over. A salesman immediately comes out and first question out of his mouth he asks me how fast I've had my car up too. Great, this should be fun. The only thing this guy knew was that the owner, Kevin, needed at least 60k out of the car. Also looked like Kevin was using the car for his personal use (a small dog was sleeping in the passenger seat) I asked if I could open the hood. No problem. Everything looked stock and not abused. Front calipers were white, sidesills looked scrape free, wheels and tires looked fine. I didn't like the paint on the hood. Looked like there were a few small paint cracks. I also didn't like the alignment of both doors. I was running my fingers along the back edge of the passenger door when the owner Kevin steps out of the showroom and says, "Sir, we just waxed that car please don't touch it." In amazement I said "excuse Me?" He repeated his proclamation, turned around and went back inside. Wow, now there's customer service, and from the owner himself!! Let's see, a guy pulls in with a Viper, asks to see a Viper you have for sale and you tell him don't touch the car. Joe stick by your gut feel. I told my friend to stay away from this one. It probably came from the auction and that's probably where he'll end up selling it. Another example why you should stick with Roanoke, Woodhouse, Tator and other VCA supporting dealers. Good luck Joe!
