Are the spindles/brakes the same on the Gen 1 and Gen 2s ?

Do you know if the spindles/brakes were the same on all models on the Gen 1 and Gen2s?

no, Gen 1 different castings and materials (steel vs Alum)

so would the gen 2 aluminum spindles bolt up to the same spot? could reduce some sprung weight for sure
