Getting a Gen V with ARH catless long tube system that will fail GA emissions.

My options are to 1 - find OEM parts (hard to find), 2 - Get a system that is emission friendly, 3 - Get 'creative' to pass emissions

Does anyone know if the Belanger BEL-5560 exhaust with cats is emission friendly?

:thankyou:

I have a full Belanger system with a single cat, utilizing the stock O2 sensors on my Gen IV and I have no issues in New York. I got to believe that it would pass GA.

That said, you can always give them a call at Belanger they are glad to help and provide support.

You can purchase a cat pipe from ARH or simply add a cat to your current system (simple for any fabricator).

My 2014 with Belanger headers and hi flow cats and a Prefix PMC passed Mass inspection. In my state they just plug in under the dash. If the computer is not indicating a problem is will pass. I pulled my Belanger cats off and went with a cat delete pipe I could sell u mine.
I do think your best course of action would be to contact AHR and buy a direct bolt on hi Flow Cat. BTW if you have a Prefix or Arrow PMC, you do not need your rear O2 sensor

These are set up for the stock muffler and Belanger headers. I also have a pair of in the box new rear O2 sensors and extension wires for them( you will need the extensions for the new location of the rear O2 sensors). You will need to wrap them well in heat protection. I can send you pics of the set up with the sills off. Send me your info if interested

Thanks

Dennis

Here are some pictures to hep you see what is under the hood and sills. Picture of the headers and collector pipe. The collector connects directly to the cats and then the muffler. You can see below there is an O2 on the collector and one on the Cat
