We have found a few instances where dealers (and owners) have called the VPA for a parts order, and Keith asks some probing questions, and it turns into a totally different "fix."
Case in point, last week, a dealer called the VPA for an order for a few thousand dollars. Keith asked "what's the issue these parts don't seem to not go together." The dealer then went on to describe the problem, and Keith stated "buy a new battery". So sure, we lost a few grand in sales, but fixed the issue, and gained some good will.
So here is a place where you can ask Keith parts or technical related questions. Please be patient. Keith is a one man show, and doesn't have a lot of time to cruise the forums, but he will make time once or twice a week, his first responsibility is to fulfill parts orders, he might also post some specials, etc.
So who is Keith? Keith was one of the first 12 certified Viper techs in the world. He has been a great technician for every model viper (save for gen 5) for nearly 20 years. He has helped many members out of the Texas club in while both at Lewsiville Dodge and at "Musclehead"
Thanks all!
