Assembly manual ???

ASSEMBLY Manual?[/h]

Has there ever been any talk/discussions on putting together an assembly manual for our cars?

I not referring to the shop manual, but a manual that outlined the actual steps used by the workers who put our cars together on the assembly line.

I acquired one for my Gen 1 camaro and it offers considerable insight and information that is not available in the factory shop manual. It was a real asset in the restoration process.

I know the info is out out there as Chrysler had to train the line workers to do their tasks.

Is this something that could be done?

It's there all right. But it's full of 0's and 1's now. I think it's for the robots.

But seriously, that would be great to know how to shim a headlight.
