Saturday an SRT/10 was supposed to go through the auction. I couldn't stay long enough to see it go. Does anyone know what it sold for or what high bid was? I sold my Mustang on friday, and although I got a fair price for it, over all the prices were weak. I don't know if this is an indication of the economy of if the prices of the hobby as a whole are getting soft.

Steve,

Too bad I didn't catch up with you! We could of had a bite to eat and something to drink! I saw it. Unfortunately I think the new Vipers are ugly (sorry) and don't pay attention to them. Looks too much like a Vette with a Trans Am hood. There was a sweet silver 99 RT10 that was sold by a friend of mine.

Did you see that crappy 69 Hurst SC/Rambler? Did you see how much it went for?

I didn't think it looked that "crappy". The interior was all wrong, but it was a decent driver. I am sorry I missed you, how are the head gaskets coming? After my crossover gasket incident I still have had no problems...Yet!

Maybe I'll see you at some of the events this season. I'll keep you posted on events locally. There are 4 or 5 of us that participate with our Vipers regularly.

Keep in touch.

Oops I forgot, just under 10K (rambler)

The head gaskets are coming along slowly between the weather (2+ feet of snow)and just being busy with other cars and work. The gaskets are in. Now I just have to put the intake on and a few other items, fill it up and go.

I am shocked that SC/Ramber went that high. It was a rolling hunk of crap...it looked good from 100 feet away but up close it was a number 3/4 car at best. Alot of wrong stuff and needed a complete resto.

Nice hearing from you. Maybe we'll catch up. Are you going to E-town for the Mopar ATlantic Nats the first week of June? I usually do the three major Mopar events - E-Town, Carlisle, and the Nats in Ohio.
