Many might already realize that the SRT-10 will not be allowed on 99% of dragstrips unless a bar is instaled or some type of cage.

However you will have a golden opportunity to come run your car as many times as you like and even enter compettetion with others without be forced to leave with lack of Rollbars. We have the track for 2 days at the V-10 nationals so take full advantage of this opportunity to get some good track time. Many folks are looking forward to what these new car's can lay down.

If any questions let me know.

David, I'm just dying because I can't be there. In fact, I WOULD bring my new SRT INSTEAD of my twin supercharged GTS just for the reasons you listed. What a golden opportunity to play with the new car at a track. That's not going to happen very often due to the rule book. I hope new SRT owners will take full advantage of that.

Drag racing is so much fun, and easy to do "reasonably" well. First timers should be encouraged and made to feel welcome. They OFTEN have much more fun than the real serious racers. So many SRT's are still "stock" right now that the SRT class may well end up being the most interesting and fun to actually compete in of them all.

Gee, wonder how many SRT rear ends will fall out on the track? Better let them run last.

Yeah, or all those nasty Gen II's with the frame issues will drop the entire differential or break the steering box loose. Please, give it a rest, will ya?

Dog..... you Devil, always get a chuckle from you. :D Actually, I can answer you question pretty accurately. It will be a SMALL fraction of the total number of busted Gen I and II half-shafts!!!!! :D

I vaguely remember a little saying that goes...... "Dogs who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones"..... or sumpthin like that! ;)

In the past, whenever we've set up Viper drag races, one of the FIRST things we always try make sure of is that any tuners involved are asked to bring extra half-shafts they have laying around. Sorry...... but that's just the way the shaft........ er, cookie crumbles! :smirk:
