Anyone that has pics of the Autoform front end, please post some pics.

Should i go with a splitter or not for a mainly street use car?

Anyone else have a front bumper that they really like for gen 2's?

thanks

Dont get the Autoform facia its ugly, get the one Vipermad made or the TNT ones. Just stay away from the Autoform, there can only be 1 viper with that facia and it already has one.

TZL,
Check my avatar for the Autoform front splitter. I like it and have had numerous positive comments on it.

Russ M,
Are you talking about the front splitter or the entire front replacement facia with the center lights? Also, explain your last sentence. I don't get it.

Bob,

I am attempting to make sure that TZL does not make the same mistake as I did getting the Autoform facia. Just trying to save him some money :) .

I only like it on the Daytona replica. On a regular Viper, it takes away from the style too much. Looks like two giant glass nostril holes. It does not give this impression on the Daytona replica though because of all the busy contrasting stickers that cover the Viper, as well as the wing. It all goes together on the Daytona. Ya know?

Autoform makes great stuff! This is what my car looked like when I bought it at Mid-Ohio in April of 2001.

1996 GTS - Prepared and modified for the Viper Racing League by Rick-A-Shay Racing before purchase from John Cooper. Autoform front fascia and rear wing. Viperdays Michelin Challenge Series Eastern Region Unlimited Champion 2001.

Great looking car Venom!

I started out with a relatively soft spring rate so I could learn to control the car. It would lean quite a bit in the turns and was ultimately much faster when we stiffened it up a bit.

I really have to tell you guys some thing.

YOU ALL ****!!!!

Here I am trying to convince the guy to forget about it and get something else, and you guys are giving him pictures. He lives WAY too close to me for my taste I cant have another Viper in the area with the same front end as me.

Now post some ugly pics.

btw Venom1000TT, your car looks great, I think i'm sold on a new bumper

i still have decided on the spiltter yet, my ACR will stay a street car so i don't know if i have the patience to deal with a delicate front.

I really have to tell you guys some thing.

Thanks for compliments & here's one back at you for your cars too! My wing is from Northwind Engineering. I have 4 quick release fasteners to take off the wing if I want to get into my back hatch because you can't open it. The wing is wide and the hatch only opens a few inches.

Silver!!!

I am hiring a hit man to take out your car.

PS. Seriously though the front end does look very nice especially on Silver, but there is alot more to installing it than meets the eye. Make sure the shop that does the work knows how to work with fiberglass, because the last thing this front does is fit right. All the allignments go way out of wack and alot of fiberglass molding is required for a good fit. The guy installing mine had to basicly rebuild the top and sides of the original piece to account for the large gaps that were left. I don't believe this part was designed for street use.
