Does anyone have any suggestions on regaining some degree of rear visibility after installing an Autoform roll bar in their SRT? I'm delighted to have replaced those flimsy sport hoops with a real roll bar, but I do miss being able to see out the back. Is there a mirror that could be attached to the top of windshield frame when the top is down perhaps so as to be able to see over the roll bar? Any other ideas?

a lcd screen with a small camera in the back. i wish they could mod the bar so that the middle part could go under, instaed of on top blocking vissibility.

I'd have to agree with the rear camera/lcd idea. On a side note, is the autoform bar nhra legal or will the tracks still beat us up for a cage?

I think the crossbar could be lowered a bit, without sacrificing to much protection. This bar is very strong the way it is, and if your not in serious competition, you may not need such strength. Or how about the center bar having a "V" in it, sort of a dip in it. Maybe smaller diameter also.

Doe's anyone know if this setup is made from chromolly steel, if so, that is extremely strong material, depending on the thickness of course.

I do think the bar is overkill. Unless your running 180 and up.

ps, BMW 3 Series has a set of pop up hoops. Those cars weigh around 3400 lbs. They do work well. There is no cross brace in that system.
