I am wanting to put an Autoform wing on the SRT, but I know a guy who has one now and it seems to be very heavy to lift and hard for the trunk to stay up. Does anyone know if I can get heavy duty lifters to make it easier? If so, where can I get them and are they easy to install?
Thanks for the help.

I have the Autoform wing, yes the trunk lid is heavy. I use and adjustable hood prop to keep the trunk open. I do not recommend using heavier duty props to help lift and hold the trunk open. The trunk itself is not designed for the stronger props and you might start cracking and breaking the strucutre of the trunk. The wing looks great and does help on the track by adding additional down force, but not until you get up around 100+. Above that you can actually feel the car start to squat down which help on the upper esses at VIR and at Sebring. Buy the wing you will not be sorry.

I know Steve is out of town now, and I am not sure how quick he would be able to get one posted. So, I got one up for him, unfortunately it is in my gallery. I am not the greatest at posting pictures. I have many more just get me your email address, and I will send you more pictures.
