Automobile of the Year?

Throughout the years, has the Viper ever taken certain awards like "Automobile of the Year" or anything similar. I would only assume so when it was released, but I don't know that for a fact. Thanks.

The only "awards" have been from performance tests. They did pace the Indy 500 in 91 and 96.
