B&B / Corsa Exhaust Mods done - Here are my conclusions

A couple of months ago I put up a post asking about B&B on the RT/10. Well yesterday my cars were at Jason's (Heffner), and I had the B&B removed from the GTS, and put on the RT/10, and I had new Corsa installed on the GTS.
I'm now happy with both. The B&B sounds great on the RT with little or no drone, and although the Corsa does not sound quite as deep as the B&B on the GTS, it is more quiet inside with no drone at all at any RPM range. My conclusions are B&B definitely has the deeper sound, but if you have a GTS expect cabin noise and drone at certain RPM levels. If you have an RT, this shouldn't be a problem. The Corsa sound is not quite as deep, but makes all the difference for a GTS when inside the cabin. For looks, both look great, but I prefer the Corsa slightly over the B&B. I'll post pics in a couple of days when I get my camera back (wife and son have it in Greece, be back Sunday).

When I was shopping for an exhaust, I was warned the BB's might be too much in the cabin at certain RPM's so I went with the Corsa. I had no cabin drone at all. The corsa sound was not as rough and loud as the BB's however. So I had high flo cats put on, and now it's perfect. There is a slight drone now at certain RPM's but nothing that I can't live with. I can hear the radio no problem. The cats made the exhaust louder and deeper, in fact people ask me if I changed the cam as it is now much more noticable. (I have a '98 with a lumpy cam anyway. Very pleased with this combo.
