Been looking to changing my shifter for a while now, but haven't had a definitive answer. Which is better or what's the difference between the two? The B&M seems better made, but that's just judging the book by it's cover.
Went with the Hurst, but have no experience with the other. To each his own, but I'm happy. Get whichever one you want as I don't believe there is a clear better choice here.
I have the Hurst and like it very much, nice short throw, but it has a different thread pattern and a MGW shift knob will not fit. Other than that it has been one of the best upgrades that I did. No more scary 2-3 shifts because the springs are much stiffer and pulls the shifter over.
See what I mean? Nothing definitive. I'm sure they are both good products. I just wonder if one might be better suited for specific types of driving or drivers.
