B&M Shifter advice...

I'm considering installing a B&M Short shifter on my GenI, can anyone give me any advice/information on the benefits of having the short shift instead of the stock shifter?

I have to admit to having missed third a couple of times, and I'm hoping that the shorter shift and more precise gear changes that the B&M promises will help.

Any advice would be highly appreciated... Thanks in advance.

I finally put one in my '96 GTS that I've had since '99.
Should have done it a long time ago.
Makes it feel like a precise performance transmission rather than a stocker.
Definitely improved the fun in driving.
Other than wishing they were a little less money (even at cost), I have no regrets in putting it in.
