I have started using a couple of baby wipes to clean up my car after each outing (bugs, bugs, bugs).

Seems to be real good also for the carbon that builds up on the tail too.

Besides, where I have to keep it (a miniwarehouse), there is no running water or electricity.

I know this is an old thread but...

Using baby wipes to wipe down your car probably isn't a good idea. It's probably stripping the wax right off. After all, the stuff they're designed to removed can be pretty caustic.

Zaino advises using American made cotton towels for washing and wiping, so better check and see if the wipes are up to *****.

I would think baby wipes would have some type of skin lotion on it. I don't think I would want that stuff on my paint in the sun.

Oh yeah, that baby skin is some real tough stuff, probably like cowhide, aligator skin or, oh, how about metal?!! I believe one ingredient is lanolin. If it gets an FDA approval for use on a baby's bottom with diaper rash to boot, it CAN'T be THAT bad!!
