I've never had a problem like that but at least they're taking great lengths to have it fixed. When you get it back, it'll be good as new. I have a few cars (2000 SL 500, 2000 LX470, 2000 ZX12) and I've never experienced anything like the Viper!!

I have to say that the Viper is the most AMAZING vehicle EVER in my opinion.

This is my 3rd Viper and I've never had any major issues. But when anything did come up - it was always taken care of immdeiately. Trust me, when you get her back, it'll be like new! The scartches are totally unacceptable!

Whenever I take my car in, I request to have it kept in a bay all by itself, nothing around it. I tip my Viper tech to keep an eye on it. The guys here are usually pretty good @ stuff like that though being that this is the Premier car from Dodge. Definitely talk to the owner or GM @ the scratches and demand they take care of them before you get it back!!!!! I'm sure they will & they'll be extra carefull w/ her in the future when you express your concerns. Good Luck & be patient. (Easier said than done though)

Hello, I had the exzact same problem with my car from brand new had it in multiple times and couldn,t figure it out the tech pulled the rockers, springs, checked oil pressure nothing that they could figure out so my tech said chrysler wanted the engine sent back to arrow so i let them do it a month or so later it was back in the car,but they scratched the hood through the base in two spots and really did a cheezy fix on it so i demanded it was done right and took it to another shop and had them flip the bill. But here is the problem when i picked up the car no noise i was exstatic it was fixed, i drove it around very easy nothing over 2500rpm put 50 or so miles on it and it,s back.................. now what? I am considering the lemon law very seriously. Jerry

Engine sent back to Arrow will for sure take more than 30 days. My 98 GTS's engine went to Arrow and it took about 2 and a half month until I got the car back. But once I got it, the engine drives much better and smoother! Good Luck!
