All of you guys AND girls have been such a big help in the past, that I thought I would give you another one...I'm looking for a set of drilled and slotted rotors. Also a good set of brake pads. Baer offers eradi speed rotors for $1,000. It is a two piece rotor. Stranos offers brembo drilled rotors for half the price. My car is driven on the street and not raced. I would appreciate your great comments on this matter. Also, what set of brake pads do you all suggest? With low dust. Thanks for your input. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Are you sure you want to upgrade the brakes. If you're not tracking the car, why bother. I've never run into a situation on the street where the stock brake set up would not suffice.

Phil makes a good point. I have switched two of our Vipers over to StopTech...one with a full front conversion, and one with slotted front replacement rotors and EBC Greenstuff pads at all 4 corners. The second Viper cost only about $400.00 for the front one piece rotors and $148.00 for the pads. You might start with the pads and see what you think.

When you say $1,000, I assume that's the total price for all 4 rotors. I've heard in the past that some of our members actually paid that much for one rotor! The most you should have to pay for a race-quality rotor is about $200-250 each.

Unless you're a heavy racer, I wouldn't recommend changing the brake system at all.

FYI, dealer cost on stock rotors is only about $75 each.

I purchased the Baer Eradispeed rotors. I don't have any performance info. as my car is not up and running - but they look beautiful.

Talk to Jon B. about pricing - as his price was well below what I bought mine for.

Kieth - I love the white on your GTS.

That is the only thing that they do good. Take it to the track and you will be sorry.

For the street, stay stock. The cross drilled rotors look cool, but are a waste. In fact they tend to hold the brake dust in the slots. Slotted are much better for heat loss. Try better pads for more effective braking, but they will wear the rotors slightly faster, but still cheaper than upgraded rotors. If you intend to "track" the car that is a different story.

Oh, Jay. I think you meant to say EBC. MP is flattered you're thinking of him, though..

EBT is going to have rotors?!! WOW! Will they have images of Aly on the hats? Can you get single replacement EBT rotors, or will they only come in pairs? Are they larger than OE rotors?
