I see no need for such a swith. The reason race cars use them is not because the battery is in the back, but because of the non factory setup with the fuel tank, and the usually poor design in the way the lines are routed, plus it's an easy way to shut down the car instead worrying about a dead battery, due to the fact they don't run a keyed ignition. The Viper has none of these issues. But if you run fast enough you will be required to have it.
