I was looking over the Belanger Exhaust Packages offered earlier and had a few questions.

Does anyone have pictures that shows the difference between the "Delete + larger tips" compared to the "W/ X-over, standard tips"? Also, does anyone have pictures of "New! Jet Hot Black" Header Finish? Just trying to get an idea of what the differences actually are! Thanks

You dont want the crossover unless ou want to keep the heat

Agreed dump the crossover unless you like heat. I have installed countless belanger systems but have yet to see the black finsh. The chrome paint looks great, you will not even want to put the header on the car.

Sounds like the "Delete + larger tips" is a no brainer!

Also getting ready to order the complete Belanger package. Looking at Racing Solutions Inc out of TX, anyone have feedback on this company.

I've got Belanger 3" catless hook up pipes and a 3" Corsa exhaust I just removed from my car. $1100 shipped...would save a ton of cash as you would only need Belanger headers

Look into M&M Performance first. In stock headers ready to ship with top quality and finish.

PM me your email and I'll send over what I have. It's loud! Surpringly not drone-y though

I just bought an 06 coupe with the full setup, high flow cats. I would have to go with very loud, sounds great at idle with the cam but quite a bit of drone at cruise. Just had
some baffles installed while getting 3.55s and the Motons corner weighted, waiting to get it back to see if it helped.

Herc, you have the Corsas and it drones with those?

Not on this 06, full Belanger, headers, cats and muffler. I have owned Gen 3s with Corsa, one with RT cats and 3 in Corsa, very loud with
drone and one with stock cats and 2.5 in Corsa, better sound, you could actually stand in the garage without ear plugs while at idle and
less drone than the 3 in. Best sounding set up I have had was an 09 Gen 4 with stock cats and no muffler, just pipe to the tips, almost
no dorne with a low tone that sounded nicer as the revs went up. I was a ******** to sell it, VOI 10, beautiful. It would be interseting
to try the stock cats and muffler delete on a Gen 3. The 06 is still at the shop getting tweaked, they put a baffle down stream on the
muffler, can't wait to hear it.

You do get some noise reduction from the stock catalysts and some noise reduction from the stock mufflers. Exhaust is a personal preference, but I find a corsa muffler and a high flow catalyst louder then a full Belanger system. I like the sound of a corsa muffler behind a stock catalyst. But again everyone is different.
