I bought a used set of Belanger headers to put on my Viper with the intention of adding a Roe supercharger in the future. I have heard rumors that a lot more power is to be had by using the B&B headers with the supercharger. Can anyone document this or shed some light on the subject ?? If this is true I would sell the Belangers & buy B&B.

Bo don't know

I've seen above and below average numbers using both sets of headers on a Roe car. Who knows....

I personally have B&B headers, but as long as you have 1-3/4" headers, I would bet you are good to go.

There have been a couple of dyno documented cases discussed on the other board where B&B's were worth 40 or more rwhp/tq on Roe cars, but both cars had significant other mods in addition to the s/c. One was a stroker, 522 ci I think, and the other was an all-out all motor car that made around 800 rwhp. So there appears to be some evidence that the B&B's are better at higher power levels, but it may be a moot point if you're going to stay below 650 rwhp.

I asked Macedo about this last year when he was building my car. He has done several Roe cars with both Belanger and B&B headers. He never saw a difference between the two. The Belangers should do you fine. :usa: :usa:
