This is the best thread I've read so far, lots of great stories!! This is my favorite experience so far:
Last summer I was driving my GTS home from work and I sped up a bit to pass a car... not being stupid, just stretching the limit a little. Of course, out of nowhere an unmarked Impala screams up behind and pulls me over. The officer was a pretty good guy, and told me he didn't know what he had until he was close. As I'm handing over my license and registration, he asks me where I'm coming from and where I'm going. I said I was headed home from work and he looked down at me and said: "hmm, they must pay well." I laughed and we talked for a few more minutes about the car and if I race it at all. After accepting my answer (only at the track) he let me off with a warning, and then stayed behind me for about 20 miles, right on the speed limit.
