Hi Jason, Sean Roe, I belive sells the S & B filters. From what ppl say they are supposed to be a bit better than the K & N's. He also sells smooth tubes too as will many other ppl here on this site.

Got mine from Sean Roe and they work just fine! They are supposed to give you another 15-17 hp, not too shabby for about $130.00! Less than $10.00 per hp is a great deal in anybody's book.

Agree with above...call Sean ( 904-733-5469) and or JonB at Parts Rack ( 360-837-3937)...good service, good prices, correct "stuff", and GREAT guys.

I got my tubes and K&N's from PartsRack (back when Vargus was taking orders

), and I've been totally satisfied with the quality, etc. However, I think the K&N's are a little thicker than the stock filters, so to prevent your airbox clips from popping off at an inopportune time, you might want to drill small holes in the corner of the airbox closure and zip tie it shut to relieve some of the pressure on the clips.

Whatever you do, I would not recommend shelling out the $200 or so to get the "official" Mopar smooth tubes - rip off.

I use Amsoil filters. I can't speak to the S&B's, but the data shows the same flow and more dirt trapping ability for the Amsoil than the K&N's.

Jason,

I have a set of unused Red Smooth tubes and S&B Filters I'd sell
for less than new ones. I wound up not needing them as I got an ACR this time around. (already has them) I also have a set of
Mopar performance spark plug wires (new) that won't fit the newer
Vipers. (will fit 96-97) If you are interested send me an e-mail.

Regards,

Steve
