Well, if "Mary Moppins" says it so, that's all the proof I need. They must know more than a company like MeGuiar's as they have only been in the car care business 100 years. And every other car care company is developing their own synthetic product line. Mary also doesn't seem to like carnauba wax as the products being pushed on their site don't contain any of that bad wax either. Go figure.

So the silicone penetrates the clear coat and the underlying paint, making the car impossible to repaint properly. LOL!

All right ..then prove to all of us that it does "not" harm paint? Excluding all the meguiars written bunk. Or that it will not harm paint in a few years. Why would you take the chance? Sorry not me. Plus Zaino is 100 times more durable and long lasting than nxt ever will be. To each their own.

Another subject which has been flogged numerous times. I have used many different products over many years. Currently I use Liquid Lustre. About $15 bucks a quart. That's good for about 10 coats of wax.
Unlike many here, and all Vipers, my other vehicles see tons of salt for 6 months of the year. The Liquid Lustre is the only product I've used so far that still beads and has a deep shine in the spring after 6 months of 1-2 car washes per week. I only wax these vehicles once a year. We just now finished waxing our '95 ETC. It took a half-hour start to finish. At 115,000 miles, it has a better shine than some Zaino Viper cars I've seen. Personally, I couldn't be bothered with the multi-step Zaino process. I have yet to see one without it having to be identified as such to me. Our Viper gets about 3-4 coats of the Liquid Lustre per season over 10,000 miles or so. You'd be hard pressed to tell it from any other 'top notch' product out there.
Many of the people reading this board barely run their cars at all. Most Vipers are pampered like no other vehicle. They are typically garaged,covered,no snow,salt,rain,dirt, excessive sunlight, or any other man made or natural, paint detriments. I'm sure any of the major wax companies stuff is just fine for any Viper.

Your right about that Steve, this debate has really gotten old. I think both Zaino and NXT are fine products. Both sides have made their points ad nauseum. As far as I'm concerned, I enjoy detailing and waxing my car so if I have to put another coat of wax on a little sooner with one brand or the other, it's not a problem I enjoy it. As you say, most of the Vipers around here rarely see any weather, you could probably use candlewax.

First off, there is no one wonder polish. Proper detailing is a process.
Here is 12 coats of Zaino on the left, and one coat of NXT on top of the Zanio on the right.

And this is on vette paint with tons of orange peel, imagine what it will do to viper paint.
After having the car for 2 years I went back to scratch and used some 3M Fine Cut Rubbing Compound Liquid and 3M Foam Polishing Pad Glaze for DARK colored cars and got rid on any swirl marks the car had at that time. Then I just clay and polish when I get the time. I have several dark colored vehicles and it has amazed me how easy they are to keep if one starts with a good foundation at first. I do this initially and then the cars are nothing to maintain and I think the Pinnacle has alot to do with it as well. I know everyone has their own opinions and favorites and that is fine, BUT I will never use anything other than Pinnacle on my cars and trucks. Hard to believe the car was nearly 4 years old in the pic.

, you know there is a little windbreaker in all of us. You also know while everyone is busy tuning/prepping their car at the track I can be found spraying mine down with a little Crystal Mist. Reduces drag and makes it go really fast.

Think it is about as much about the technique as the product. Lots of good products out there.
The ViperClub in SoCal was invited to Meguiars for a detailing day. They provided all the products and machines. They had several professional detailers there to lend assistance and protect us from doing anything foolish.
Even among the Meguiars specialists they had different product recommendations, and favorite processes.
Basic instructions...clean car well...clay...polish...wax...enjoy.
An interesting side note is that while you often need to be very agressive to obtain a show finish, that often removes a portion of the clear coat to get out the fine scratches. Each agressive move reduces the amount of clear coat you have remaining. They recommended that sometimes just a light polish is required to give a "good" result, and that chasing perfection often comes at a price.

Which Pinnacle product is best for a viper? The souveran paste wax $69.95 or the signature series wax $34.95? They also have the Liquid souveran series wax $24.95?
I imagine the liquid wax would be easier to put on and take off but does it give the best results... Never used the product before.
Use to use Zymoil on a black car, had nice results but way to much buffing to get that stuff off. Takes like a day to do the entire car...

If your car is red or black, use Pinnacle Souveran. Don't let the $70 price scare you - that little tub lasts a long time.
